SUPPLIER AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS:

 

1.        INTERPRETATION

1.1      In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:

Confidential Information” means in respect of each party to this Agreement all information (whether in oral, written, graphic, machine recognisable, or sample form) of a confidential or proprietary nature whether or not marked as “Confidential” or “Proprietary” or similar designation, owned, developed, controlled, licensed to or otherwise acquired by or used by that party (whether or not relating to this Agreement) and relating to its business;

“Connections” shall mean the collection of events and activities which forms the community;

“Connections One-to-One” shall mean the collection of events with pre-scheduled appointments;

“Connections Virtual One-to-One” shall mean the collection of events with pre-scheduled appointments;

“Connections Online Community” shall mean all Connections’ members including without limitation ‘buyers’ or ‘suppliers’) who access the Events online.

“Event(s)” shall mean the event(s) set out in the Connections Schedule of Events;

“Event Date(s)” shall mean the date or dates for the Event set out in the Connections Schedule of Events or such other date(s) on which the Event is held pursuant to this Agreement;

“Event Venue” shall mean the venue shown in the Connections Schedule of Events or such other venue in which the Event is held pursuant to this Agreement;

“Force Majeure” shall mean any circumstances outside TWG’s reasonable control including, without limitation, war, act of terrorism, riot, civil commotion, strike, lockout or any other industrial action, epidemics/pandemics including but not limited to COVID-19, Act of God, storm, fire, earthquake, flood, electrical failure or action of government or other competent authority;

Group Company" shall mean in relation to a body corporate, any subsidiary, subsidiary undertaking or holding company of such body corporate, and any subsidiary or subsidiary undertaking of any such holding company for the time being;

Intellectual Property Rights” shall mean patents, inventions, know-how, trade secrets and other confidential information, registered designs, design rights, copyrights, database rights, rights affording equivalent protection to copyright and design rights, trademarks, trade names, service marks, business names, domain names, moral rights, registrations and applications to register any of the aforesaid items, rights in the nature of any of the aforesaid items in any country and/or jurisdiction, rights in the nature of unfair competition rights, goodwill, the rights to sue for passing off or other rights in any unregistered trade mark;

“Connections Access Fee” shall mean the fee payable by the Supplier specified in the Connections Schedule of Events;

“Online Platform” means any the online platform(s) used by TWG to deliver the Events;

“Online Platform Provider” has the meaning given to it in clause 3.14;

“Online Platform Terms” has the meaning given to it in clause 3.15.

“Supplier’s Trade Marks” means the trademarks and logos provided to Connections;

1.1      Unless the context otherwise requires, words denoting the singular shall include the plural and vice versa and words denoting any one gender shall include all genders and words denoting persons shall include bodies corporate, unincorporated associations and partnerships.

1.2      Headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement.

 

2.        TRAVEL WEEKLY GROUP LTD’S RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1      TWG shall use its reasonable endeavours to organise the Events to take place on the Event Date(s) shown in the Connections Schedule of Events. Supplier acknowledges and agrees that the Event Date(s) and/or Event Venue may change at any time before the Event. TWG will use its reasonable endeavours to notify Supplier as soon as it becomes aware of any change to the Event Date(s) and Event Venue listed in the Connections Schedule of Events. If the holding of the Event on the Event Date(s) or in the Event Venue becomes impossible or inadvisable in TWG’s opinion then TWG shall be entitled on notifying the Supplier to hold the Event on alternative dates or in an alternative venue as appropriate and all the provisions of this Agreement shall apply as if the Event had been held on the Event Date(s) or in the Event Venue set out in this Agreement.

2.2      TWG shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Event and the deployment of such appropriately and adequately qualified staff as are required to organise all aspects of the Event.

2.3      TWG shall provide the Connections Schedule of Events to the Supplier.  

 

3.        SUPPLIER’S OBLIGATIONS 

3.1      The Supplier shall pay the Fee or first instalment in GBP in full on signature of this Agreement to join Connections (and any applicable Value Added Tax or any other sales tax set out in the Connections Schedule of Events).

3.2       Should the Supplier fail to pay one of their instalments when invoiced, TWG shall be entitled to charge the Supplier the remainder of their balance in full which shall become immediately payable by the Supplier.

3.3      TWG shall be entitled to charge the Supplier interest on overdue payments at the rate of two per cent above LIBOR base rate.

3.4       The Supplier is free to represent all of its brands under the company name. For chain hotels a main company logo is to be used however at the events set out in this schedule, all properties under that umbrella can be promoted. It is the responsibility of the primary account holder update this on their profile.

3.5       The Supplier shall not book space at an Event with the Event Venue without the prior permission of TWG.

3.6    The Supplier shall be responsible for taking out and maintaining a valid policy of insurance covering the Supplier’s personnel and property against all loss and damage incurred at or in connection with the Event including travel and medical coverage.

3.7     The Supplier shall be responsible for making their own flight arrangements, accommodation and airport transfers at each of the events set out in the Connections Schedule of Events and shall bear the costs of the same themselves.

3.8       It is the Supplier’s responsibility to inform TWG of any changes to their company details.

3.9       Supplier shall use the Connections logo to demonstrate to the marketplace that the Supplier has access to Connections.

3.10   The Supplier shall additionally perform any obligations (if any) set out in the Connections Schedule of Events as Supplier’s Obligations and will use such reasonable endeavours to provide support and assistance to TWG in promoting Connections as may be agreed between TWG and the Supplier.

3.11     The Supplier agrees and acknowledges that TWG shall be entitled to change the Schedule of Events at any time provided it gives the Supplier reasonable notice of any such change by email to the email address provided by the Supplier.

3.12   The Supplier agrees to be respectful and maintain integrity in it’s contacting of Connections buyers members. We encourage the Supplier  to have a positive and supportive spirit in these challenging times.

3.13   The parties shall comply with the Content Policy.  TWG reserves the right to disable or terminate the Supplier’s access to the Online Platform, or the Connections Online Community, should the Supplier breach the Content Policy. 

3.14     The Supplier accepts that the Online Platform shall be provided by a third party as notified to the Supplier by TWG from time to time (“Online Platform Provider”) and that in order to use the Online Platform it must download the Online Platform to its hardware.  The Supplier must ensure that:

(a)       the hardware complies with any minimum requirements or specifications requested by the Online Platform Provider from time to time; and

(b)       it has sufficient internet access in order to operate it.

3.15     The Supplier accepts that use of the Online Platform is subject to any Online Platform Provider terms and conditions, terms of use, policies or community guidelines (“Online Platform Terms”) and that the Supplier is required to enter into and abide by such terms in order to commence and continue use of the Online Platform.

3.16     In addition to the Community Data, TWG may receive data regarding the Supplier (or any individuals acting on its behalf) from the Online Platform Provider and the Supplier acknowledges that TWG may use or otherwise process such data in order to deliver the Events.

 

 4.       COVID-19 OBLIGATIONS AND TESTING

4.1       The Supplier shall ensure that no employee, worker, contractor, subcontractor, officer, agent, or other representative of the Supplier (“Representative”) will be permitted to attend an Event on behalf of the Supplier if they or someone they live with is displaying any of the following symptoms:

(a)        A temperature of 37.8C or greater;

(b)        A new dry continuous cough; or

(c)        A loss of, or change in, normal sense of smell or taste.

4.2       TWG reserves the right to refuse entry to any person displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

4.3       TWG may require the Supplier, or any Representative of the Supplier who is attending an Event to:

(a)        Provide proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test for COVID-19 taken within 48 hours prior to the commencement of an Event; or

(b)        Undertake a Lateral Flow Test for COVID-19 immediately prior to commencement of the Event which shows a negative result for COVID-19; or

(c)        Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the reasonable satisfaction of TWG.      

4.4       Travel Weekly Group reserves the right to require any Representative to undertake a COVID-19 Lateral Flow Test regardless of whether they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 immediately prior to the commencement of the Event.

4.5       TWG reserves the right to refuse admission to any Supplier, who does not meet one of the requirements set out in clause 4.3.

4.6       Before commencing the services hereunder the Supplier shall procure that its Representatives shall familiarise themselves with and comply with Travel Weekly Group’s health and safety policy as provided to the Supplier for the Event. The Supplier agrees and shall procure that the Representatives agree that this is an ongoing obligation that extends to any additional policies, procedures or measures that Travel Weekly Group may put in place from time to time in respect of its response to COVID-19 and which are provided to the Supplier in writing.

4.7       The Supplier unconditionally acknowledges and shall procure that the Representatives acknowledge that there is an element of risk of exposure to COVID-19 associated with any form of participation in an activity involving other individuals working at relatively close proximity. While Travel Weekly Group shall adhere to the health and safety protocols and follow all risk assessment recommendations to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19, the Supplier acknowledges and shall procure that the Representatives acknowledge that there remains a possibility that the Representatives may come into direct or indirect contact with COVID-19 and the Supplier shall procure that the Representatives freely and willingly agrees to participate in the Event and provide the Services in this knowledge.

 

6.        INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

6.1     TWG shall own all rights and goodwill in and to Connections and the brand and all revenues and costs relating to the Event shall belong to TWG.

6.2      The Supplier hereby grants to TWG a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the Supplier’s Trademarks in relation to Connections for the purpose only of providing the Connections Schedule of Events and warrants that it is entitled to grant such rights to TWG. 

6.3      TWG hereby grants to the Supplier a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the title of the Event and such other trademarks and logos of TWG as are reasonably required for the purpose only of the Connections Schedule of Events and warrants that it is entitled to grant such rights to the Supplier.

6.4      Each of TWG and the Supplier shall comply with the reasonable instructions and guidelines of the other relating to the use of its trademarks and logos.

 

7.        CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

7.1      Each party acknowledges that Confidential Information may be disclosed to it or otherwise come to its attention. Each party agrees and undertakes that it will hold any Confidential Information in complete confidence and will not disclose it in whole or in part at any time to any third party, nor use Confidential Information for any purpose other than the performance of its obligations under this Agreement.  This provision shall survive the termination of this Agreement for any reason for a period of 2 (two) years commencing immediately on the date of such termination.

7.2      Confidential Information shall not include information which:

(a)    at or prior to the time of disclosure was known to the receiving party or was generally available to the public as evidenced in writing, except to the extent that such information was unlawfully appropriated;

(b)    at or after the time of disclosure becomes generally available to the public other than through any act or omission on the part of the receiving party;

(c)     is received from a third party free to make such disclosure without breaching any legal obligation;

(d)    is independently developed by the receiving party; or

(e)    is required to be disclosed by law, court order or request by any government or regulatory authority.

 

8.        LIABILITY

8.1        The Online Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and in particular, TWG makes no warranty or representation that:

      1. use of the Online Platform will meet the Supplier’s requirements;
      2. the Online Platform will be available at all times;
      3. use of the Online Platform will be reliable, uninterrupted, timely, secure of free from error; and
      4. any defects in the operation or functionality of the Online Platform will be corrected.

8.2      Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude or restrict either party’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.

8.3       The Supplier shall indemnify TWG from and against any claims, demands, costs, expenses, actions, proceedings, damages, losses and liabilities which arise in connection with or which relate to the Supplier’s breach of the Content Policy or its undertakings concerning the Community Data.

8.4      Subject to Clause 8.2 and Clause 8.3, the liability of each party as against the other party under this Agreement (whether in tort, contract, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise) shall be limited to a maximum sum equivalent to the Connections Access Fee paid or due for payment.

8.5      Neither party shall be held liable to the other under contract or tort or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise with reference to any matter arising directly or indirectly out of or related to this Agreement for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive loss, damage or liability, including consequential or incidental loss of profits, business, data or the use of data.

8.6      Neither party shall be held liable for any loss or failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

8.7       TWG shall have no liability for costs, expenses, damages or losses arising as a result of the Supplier or any Representative of the Supplier being refused entry to an Event in accordance with clause 4 of this agreement.

 

9.        GENERAL

9.1      This Agreement relates only to the Event referred to in this Agreement.

9.2      This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties as to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all previous communications, representations, arrangements, understandings and agreements whether written or oral relating thereto and no variation or amendment to this Agreement shall be effective unless made in writing and signed on behalf of each of the parties hereto. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed so as to create a partnership, joint venture or contract of employment between the parties.

9.3      If any provision of this Agreement is deemed void, invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such voidness, invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the validity of other provisions of this Agreement and the provisions thus declared void or invalid shall be considered to have been deleted from this Agreement.

9.4      This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9.5      Any notices given by either party hereunder shall be given in writing to the recipient at its address set out above (or such address as such party may notify the other for the purposes of this Agreement).  Any such notice shall be deemed to be delivered, if sent by first class post, 48 (forty eight) hours after posting; and, if sent by facsimile, at the time of transmission, confirmed by a transmission report from the sender’s facsimile machine.

9.6      The parties to this Agreement do not intend that any of the terms will be enforceable by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

9.7      This Agreement may not be assigned or otherwise transferred in whole or in part by either party without the prior written consent of the other, save that either party may assign its rights and obligations under this Agreement to a Group Company without consent being required.

If accepted to join our membership, you agree to the Terms and Conditions as set below.

Please note these Terms and Conditions also apply to all the events below as well as all associated Fam Trips that a Buyer might be selected to join.

1. DEFINITIONS

In these Terms and Conditions the following words shall have the following meanings unless the

context otherwise requires:

1.1 "Connections" means face to face one to one appointments held between buyers and

suppliers in different locations in 2024, owned and organised by Connections, a division of Travel

Weekly Group.

1.2 "Connections Team" means the Connections team at Travel Weekly Group of 52

Grosvenor Gardens, Victoria, SW1W 0AU, London, UK.

1.3 “Event” means one or more of the events listed in the table above or any other event

operated by Connections or Travel Weekly Group.

1.4 “Hosted Buyer” means the person, accepted by Travel Weekly Group, who will attend

the Event as a buyer of high-end travel products where complimentary accommodation,

meals and experiences are provided by Travel Weekly Group.

1.5 "Pre-Scheduled Appointment System" means the appointment system operated by Connections

to co- ordinate the appointments of the Hosted Buyers and Connections suppliers during the Event.

1.6 “Suppliers” mean high-end suppliers who have contracted with Connections to participate at

Connections Event.

1.7 “Travel Weekly Group” shall mean Travel Weekly Group Limited or any associated, parent or

subsidiary company or organisation.

 

2. CONDUCT OF HOSTED BUYERS

2.1 Should their application to join the Event be successful, "Hosted Buyers" will receive from Travel

Weekly Group (unless otherwise specified):

2.1.a Up to three nights’ accommodation including breakfast, lunch and dinner, but excluding

all extras including room service, telephone calls and in-room refreshments (which are to be

borne by the Hosted Buyer) per event

2.1.b When specified, return airport transfers to the host hotel in the destination where the Event is being held, only on the arrival and departure dates as outlined in the official event agenda provided by the

Connections Team and only upon receipt of flights information no less than two weeks prior to the

event

2.1.c Entry to the Connections full programme of the Connections Event

2.1.d Pre-scheduled appointments on the Event networking days

2.1.e Entry to all official meals, parties and networking events organized by Connections in relation to the

Event.

2.2 As a condition of receiving the above services, being those services and benefits set out in

clause 2.1 , from Travel Weekly Group, "Hosted Buyers" will be required to:

2.2.a Actively participate in all the Pre-Scheduled Appointments Programme, i.e. selecting all the

exhibitors in order of appointment preferences within a specified timeframe.

2.2.b Attend all meetings and networking sessions scheduled by the Connections Team and included by

the Connections Team in their diaries

2.2.c Wear suitable smart casual attire as a condition of entry to and participation during the Event.

2.2.d Arrive at the Event no later than 5pm on the Arrival Day set by the Connections Team and as per

Event schedule

2.3. Failure by any person to comply with the requirements stated above may result in a review of the

person's Hosted Buyer status and / or exclusion from the Event Hosted Buyer Programme and future

Connections Hosted Buyer Programmes without refund of any sums that may have already been paid by

that person. A significant shortfall by the Hosted Buyer on the minimum commitment with respect to

attending appointments shall be treated by the Connections Team as a cancellation, and cancellation

fees will apply (see "Cancellations" section below). Attendance at the above will be monitored on site by

the Connections Team.

2.3 Prior to arrival at the Event, the Hosted Buyer shall familiarise themselves with and comply with Travel

Weekly Group’s health and safety policy as provided for the Event. The Hosted Buyer agrees that this is an

ongoing obligation that extends to any additional policies, procedures or measures that Travel Weekly

Group may put in place from time to time in respect of its response to COVID-19 and which are provided to

the Hosted Buyer in writing.

2.4 The Hosted Buyer unconditionally acknowledges that there is an element of risk of exposure to COVID-19

associated with any form of participation in an activity involving other individuals working at relatively close

proximity. While Travel Weekly Group shall adhere to the health and safety protocols and follow all risk

assessment recommendations to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19, Hosted Buyer acknowledges

that there remains a possibility that the Representatives may come into direct or indirect contact with

COVID-19 and freely and willingly agrees to participate in the Event in this knowledge.

 

3. TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

3.1 Hosted Buyers, will provide their travel details to the Connections Team no later than four weeks

before the Event dates. Such Hosted Buyers are obligated to arrive at the Event by 5pm on Arrival

Day and depart no later than 10.30pm on Departure Day.

3.2 If 3.1 is adhered to, thenTravel Weekly Group will provide the Hosted Buyer with a return transfer

(where specified) from the airport designated by the Connections team to the host hotel, unless

specified otherwise.

Should there be more than one airport in the destination where the Event is being hosted please check

with the Connections Team where you should be flying into. Transfers will be either by car or minibus.

Transfers will be arranged no earlier than Arrival Day. Return transfers will be arranged only on

Departure Day.

3.3 Travel Weekly Group will provide the Hosted Buyer with a maximum of three nights’

accommodation at the host hotel and during the Event dates only in accordance with sub-clause 2.1.a.

3.4 Travel Weekly Group will not be responsible for extra room costs incurred during the stay. Any

room upgrades will be solely at the discretion of the hotel management. Additional nights, if requested

by the Hosted Buyer, are payable by the Hosted Buyer locally directly to the hotel.

 

4. CANCELLATION & REPLACEMENTS FOR HOSTED BUYERS

4.1 Replacements: Invitations to Hosted Buyers are non-transferable. In instances where Hosted

Buyers need to cancel their participation, they should promptly request and replace their attendance

with a senior colleague from their organisation to attend as a replacement. On the condition that the

replacement is accepted by the Connections Team, a cancellation /change fee will not apply. If the

replacement cannot be found and if the replaced senior colleague also cancels their participation then

clause 4.2 will apply.

4.2 Cancellation of attendance: Whilst not encouraged, Hosted Buyers may cancel their attendance to

the Event with no penalty up to 45 days before the event start date. Cancellations received on or

after 45 days before the event start date will incur a fee of £1,500. Please note a member of the

team from Connections will be in contact with an individual invoice according to your costs. You

will be liable to pay the following:

5.2.1. Accommodation cancellation fee or accommodation equivalent of stay depending at the

time of cancellation and according to host hotel policy

5.2.2. Arrival Transfer

5.2.3. Departure Transfer

5.2.4. Transfers cost during Event

5.2.5. Meal costs (Lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail receptions or dinners)

5.2.6. Individual experiences cost (can vary depending on how many meetings)

5.2.7. Supplier fee as a result of meetings lost

5.2.8. Fam trip costs (if applicable)

4.3 All cancellations must be received by the Connections Team in writing and must have been

acknowledged by the dates specified above by the Connections Team.

4.4 A significant shortfall by Hosted Buyers on their minimum commitments with respect to attending

appointments shall be treated by the Connections Team as a cancellation of attendance and the

Hosted Buyers will incur a cancellation fee of GBP £1,500 inclusive of VAT.

4.5 No Show: Hosted Buyers who do not inform the Connections Team of their cancellations 45 days

prior to the event date and do not attend the specified Connections event will incur a no show fee of

GBP £1,500 inclusive of VAT.

4.6 Cancellation of attendance fees and any no show fees shall be payable by Hosted Buyers within

thirty days of the receipt of the cancellation or no-show invoice. Travel Weekly Group will provide the

Hosted Buyer with a receipt in respect to cancellation of attendance fees and no show fees. The

Hosted Buyer may request an invoice if required.

4.7 Travel Weekly Group shall be entitled to cancel the place of the Hosted Buyer and withdraw or

cancel all benefits if it considers, at its sole discretion, that the products or services provided by the

Hosted Buyer or any person attending the event with the Hosted Buyer mentioned overleaf, do not fit

the profile of the Event.

4.8 Hosted Buyers agree that the above charges are a reasonable pre-estimate of the loss suffered by

Travel Weekly Group in the event of Hosted Buyers breaching these Terms and Conditions or

cancelling their attendance.

4.9 Hosted Buyers who attend the Event but are refused entry due to non-compliance with the COVID-

19 measures set out in clause 3.3 will not incur any cancellation charge.

 

5. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

5.1 Travel Weekly Group takes no responsibility (including for any costs incurred)

6.1.1. for Hosted Buyers who miss their flight;

6.1.2. for the insolvency or failure of any airline company or hotel or ground handling company or

other supplier;

6.1.3. for flight cancellation or delay;

6.1.4. if a Hosted Buyer is refused permission to board the aircraft or is refused entry to the

destination where the Event is being hosted for any reason whatsoever;

6.1.5. for any delay or loss of baggage or excess baggage charges - any subsequent dispute shall be

directly between the Hosted Buyer and the relevant airline;or

6.1.6. for any costs incurred as a result of the Hosted Buyer being refused entry to the Event.

5.2 The Hosted Buyers must obtain adequate travel insurance coverage for their stay and it is

recommended in particular that Hosted Buyers take out adequate cancellation insurance to cover

the instances referred to in paragraph 5.1, insurance for their baggage and medical insurance

COVID19 compliant.

5.3 Individual visa requirements, travel permits, other licences and inoculations will be the sole

responsibility of the Hosted Buyer, including any necessary costs incurred.

5.4 Travel Weekly Group, its agents, its employees, and its subcontractors shall not be liable for loss,

damage or delay resulting from acts or threats of war, hijack, terrorist activity, civil commotion,

industrial disputes, fuel shortages, natural disasters or adverse weather conditions, strikes or

lockouts intervention or regulation, military activity, epidemics, pandemics including in relation to

Coronavirus and COVID-19 or any other circumstances outside Travel Weekly Group’s or its

subcontractor’s control which shall make it impossible or inadvisable for Travel Weekly Group to

hold the Event at the time and place provided or makes it impossible to get the Hosted Buyers to

the Event or to provide flights, hotels, transfer appointments, events or other services to Hosted

Buyers

5.5 Travel Weekly Group reserves the right to re-schedule the Event at another date and/or at an alternative site, whether in consequence of a Force Majeure event or otherwise. Should the Event

not go ahead and be cancelled for any reason, the Hosted Buyer agrees and acknowledges that it is

obliged to attend the virtual Event which Travel Weekly Group shall endeavour to hold on the dates

of the original Event.

5.6 Travel Weekly Group shall not be liable to the Hosted Buyer, in contract, tort or otherwise for

any loss of profit, loss of business or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or any indirect or

consequential loss or damage, costs or expenses arising out of or in connection with the Hosted

Buyers attendance at the Event.

5.7 Travel Weekly Group shall not be liable for the death or personal injury of any Hosted Buyer

save where such liability cannot be excluded under English Law.

5.8 Travel Weekly Group’s liability to a Hosted Buyer in respect of his/her attendance at the Event

under these Terms and Conditions whether in contract, tort or otherwise shall not exceed GBP

£1,500.

 

6. GENERAL

6.1 Completion of an online or other application form applying to become a Hosted Buyer at the Event

does not automatically guarantee a place on the Hosted Buyer Programme. Applicants will be notified

by the Connections Team if their application is successful. The Connections Team's decision is final.

Only one application form may be completed by each proposed participant and only the first application

form will be accepted. Applicants must be over the age of eighteen.

6.2 Successful applicants will only be accepted as Hosted Buyers if they have fully completed the

application form, read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and confirmed their acceptance by

ticking the relevant boxes on the online application form.

6.3 The Connections Team reserves the right to remove a Hosted Buyer from the Hosted Buyer

Programme at its complete discretion without liability if it is considered by the Connections Team to be in

the best interests of the Connections Event.

6.4 It is important for any Hosted Buyer, and those businesses that they represent to understand that

Connections Event is solely for business purposes and targeted for influential people working within

the luxury travel industry.

6.5 Any disputes arising under these terms will be governed by English law and are subject to the

exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

6.6 By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are consenting under all relevant data protection

legislation to Travel Weekly Group communicating with you by telephone, email and by post and using

your personal information for internal processing and for disclosure to third parties such as airlines, hotels

and exhibitors in connection with your attendance at Connections. In addition, we may use your details to

invite you to other Events organised by Travel Weekly Group or to offer you other relevant products and

services supplied by Travel Weekly Group or third parties.
